Jib Crane Footings

This project is in a welding shop. First, we laid out where the footings would be. We then cut the concrete with water as the shop needed to remain dust free because of the work that is done there. We removed the concrete and excavated the footings, removing 30,000 lbs. of dirt. Next, we tied a rebar cage and suspended a bolt pattern for the crane to attach to. Lastly, we poured the concrete in. The cranes were certified by a third party, and they are in full use today. These cranes are used for moving parts around the surrounding areas which is much easier than the lift they had been using by hand.
