Foam Fill Fail

Homeowner bought this home on the edge of Utah Lake with an elevated parking area next to the garage. The concrete had failed as it was foam filled several times before. We removed the concrete and all of the foam which was roughly 3,000 Lbs. We brought in road base to compact and grade the area for a new concrete pad. We placed rebar dowels into the home and the existing walls. We then tied a full rebar mat, securing the walls together with the home. We also repaired an area where water was getting through the wall into the home. We ran a new downspout under the concrete and punched a hole through the wall to run along his property line.
